This online tutorial was designed by BYU Provo staff to assist faculty, staff, and students in learning about the rights of a copyright owner and the legal exemptions that exist for educators, such as fair use. The tutorial was developed in three interactive modules and includes short videos, reference materials, case studies and a game. Professors and instructors are encouraged to have their students complete the tutorial as part of their coursework. The tutorial can be completed in one sitting or in modules in about two hours.
