Enterprise Information Systems (EIS)
Mission
EIS staff supports BYU–Hawaii mission of helping students learn, lead and build by providing enterprise information services and support to the University Ohana to better fulfill their stewardships by empowering them with tools and knowledge to efficiently use technology. EIS will also provide mentoring and practical experience to students to be ready to enter the workforce and build the Kingdom of God.
Goals
- Build a team of highly skilled administrators
- Build a secure, recoverable, and reliable infrastructure and application system for software services
- Expand team knowledge to allow cross-utilization
- Continue to develop project management process
- Help students develop a marketable portfolio by involving them in a broader scope of projects
