EMAIL STANDARDS

FOR ALL USERS

  • The university provides a byuh.edu or a go.byuh.edu email account for all university email communications.
  • University communications are only sent through university-provided email accounts.
  • There will be no mass forwarding using university-provided email.
  • Students will receive all university communications through their university student accounts.

WHAT DO I DO?

  • Use university provided email accounts for work and school communications
  • Do not create automatic rules that forward all email to a personal email address
  • Check university-provided email regularly for university communications
  • Report any email that purports to be official and does not use a byuh.edu email to byuh_itsecurity@byuh.edu
