The Church Education System (CES) is implementing OKTA, a world-class identity and access management system, to unify all Church-sponsored schools under a single, secure login experience. This consolidated login will prominently feature an image of Jesus Christ, reinforcing the spiritual mission of Church education. OKTA, often referred to as the "Ferrari of Identity Systems" due to its robust security and performance, is typically out of reach for many organizations because of its high cost—yet it is provided free of charge to BYU–Hawaii. With enhanced protection against hackers and data leaks, OKTA will replace QuickLaunch as the login platform beginning June 11, 2025, offering modern multi-factor authentication (MFA) options tailored for different user types including students, faculty, contractors, and department accounts.
